Ken Yu Kai Karate was formed some thirty years ago by Sensei Terry Pottage. We boast clubs throughout the United Kingdom and as far as the Channel Isles, where we are represented by two successful clubs on Jersey and Guernsey. We are members of the World Union Of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF).
Predominantly, the style of karate taught in Kenyukai has always been Shukokai/Shito-Ryu, but recently we have accepted affiliations from like minded clubs who practice Shotokan, Wado Ryu and Goju Ryu styles who wish to be part of the Kenyukai revolution.
As a group we pride ourselves in the high level of tuition available to our students and Sensei Pottage is well known nationally and internationally for his personal achievements in all aspects of karate.
Ken Yu Kai Karate is a network of clubs throughout Lancashire and Greater Manchester. We provide world class coaching and training for everyone interested in Karate from a complete beginner to advanced.
